The Tallest Man On Earth: Love Is All
I think that the last couple of weeks I must have been craving poetry-hued-folk-songs the same way I crave protein when I need it and the lastest by The Tallest Man On Earth (Kristain Matsson), “The Wild Hunt”, is exactly that. These songs are stories [...]

I think that the last couple of weeks I must have been craving poetry-hued-folk-songs the same way I crave protein when I need it and the lastest by The Tallest Man On Earth (Kristain Matsson), “The Wild Hunt”, is exactly that. These songs are stories but I’m pretty certain they’re told out of order. The images are elaborate and dream-like and unmistakably emotional and his labored, crackling voice is exactly what I’d been hoping for.

“Well I walk up on the river like it’s easier than land. Evil’s in my pocket and your will is in my hand. Now throw it in the current that I stand up on so still. Love is all from what I’ve heard but my heart’s learned to kill, oh mine has learned to kill. Oh, I said I could rise from the harness of our goals. Here come the tears but like always I let them go. Now spikes keep on falling from the heavens to the floor a few chose our skin and now we don’t dream any more. We gotta house made from spider webs and the clouds are rolling in you bet this mighty river’s both my savior and my sin. Oh, I said I could rise from the harness of our goals. Here come the tears but like always I let them go. Well I walk up on the river like it’s easier then land. Evil’s in my pocket and your strength is in my hand. And I’ve thrown you in the current that I stand up on so still. Love is all from what I heard but by heart’s learned to kill, oh mine has learned to kill. Oh, I said I could rise from the harness of our goals, here come the tears but like always I let them go.”

I’m a little embarrassed it’s taken me so long to peruse the etsy shop of Shlomit Ofir since I receive dozens of compliments every time I wear the Bare Branch necklace I was given months ago by a dear friend. I particularly love the gold she uses for her simple designs. I’m so used to seeing gold all polished and sparkling (and often gaudy) but the way these necklaces are put together it’s so soft and delicate.

Highlights? In my opinion the stand outs are the Bird On Branch Necklace, Matte Gold Plated Double Tree Necklace & the Long Tree Necklace.
