Christmas Vacation, Day 5 (Christmas Eve).

We set off this morning headed off to Grateful Bread Bakery in Seattle bright eyed and bushy tailed promptly at eight AM. The goal was their famous olive loaf. It smelled pretty great, but it was a gift. The chocolate croissant and bran muffin I tasted were absolutely delicious. I’m looking forward to our next trip. We didn’t spend much time there because the roads in Seattle actually are really terrible to drive on with all this snow. I was in a little bit of denial since it’s so unusual for Seattle to get as much or more snow than the suburbs. Lucky for me, I didn’t have to drive.

So naturally, I volunteered to go back to Seattle in the evening with my family. Hooray for Christmas Eve adventures.

I’ll be wandering off to bed soon, bring on those visions of sugar plums. It looks like I’ll be getting more familiar with these. How neat!

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday! Happy trails!
