The morning was a flurry of slack jawed discussion about John McCain’s choice for vice president. Just the other night I half joked that he’d have to choose a young politician from a minority group. He did just that. He selected 44 year old, first term Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin.
I haven’t mentioned it here previously, but I’m supporting Barack Obama.
Speaking eloquently about politics is not one of my strong suits so I’ve included some links from Jezebel, CNN & Time.
What I will say is that I hope the female population of America will choose a candidate based on an educated understanding of the issues (regardless of party preference) and not simply because one of the possible VPs has a vagina. For now, I’m just a little confused by his choice.

Words have escaped me on this one. It’s been almost a week, and I still can’t come up with something eloquent to say other than “WTF?”
What’s funny about your comment is that originally the title of this post was “Palin? WTF?”
